Social Interactions Lab presents papers at conferences

The members of the UPV Social Interactions Lab presented research papers at several national and international conferences this year.

Dr. Johnrev Guilaran presented “An Exploration of the Facets of Filipino Received Social Support” at the International Congress of Psychology 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic last July 2024.

Prof. Aniceta Patricia Alingasa-Aguirre and Prof. Augil Marie Robles presented papers at the Psychological Association of the Philippines Annual Convention last September 2024 in Baguio City.

Prof. Alingasa-Aguirre presented “Empathic, Perceptive, and Embedded: Distinctions and Dimensions of Filipino Received Social Support” while Prof. Robles presented “Tulong bunga ng Kagandahang Loob at Kusang Loob: Culturally Situating Considerations for Social Support Satisfaction.”

Dr. Guilaran also presented “Explorasyon ng mga Aspeto ng Filipino Received Social Support” at the 48th Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Sikolohiyang Filipino via Zoom last November 2024.

Papers presented in these conferences are part of the Social Support Satisfaction Scale Development Project funded by the University of the Philippines Visayas Regular In-house Research Grant.
